June R. Reed is a Managing Director of Saber Partners, LLC.
Ms Reed has extensive investment banking and commercial lending
experience to support Saber clients in a wide range of financial activities.
Her expertise ranges from risk assessment, counterparty exposure, product development,
marketing and strategic planning to structuring and raising capital in the
fixed income and equity markets. Significantly to Saber Partners' clients,
Ms. Reed has been involved in both corporate and government finance.
She has participated in the execution of large domestic municipal market bond underwritings as well
as equity transactions including initial public offerings and follow-on
offerings for corporate clients.
Ms Reed spent ten years with Merrill Lynch in risk management
and fixed income and most recently five years at Credit Suisse
First Boston (CSFB) in Equity Capital Markets. She was the Vice Chairman of
the International Credit Committee at Merrill Lynch and a member of the Equity
Commitment Committee at CSFB. As Head of the CSFB's New Business Development
Group in Equity Capital Markets, she developed sophisticated market and competitive
analysis. In addition, she oversaw the production of internal and external
business communications for the global offices of its equity platform.
Prior to her 15 years on Wall Street, she was an officer of Crocker Bank / Wells Fargo Bank in risk management and commercial lending. In her capacity as a Credit Policy Officer she approved significant client exposure for the institution's Middle Market offices and headed the de novo regional office for the Metropolitan Banking Division Los Angeles. She also led the statewide Financial Analysis Department for the Bank's Domestic Division, establishing groups in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Ms. Reed has a MBA in Finance from the Anderson School of
Business and a MA from the School of Architecture and Urban Planning, University
of California at Los Angeles and a MSBA in International Finance from the University
of Southern California Graduate School of Business.
Ms. Reed has served on the Board and Executive Committee of the Junior League, one of New York's oldest not-for-profit organizations with over 2,900 volunteers. She recently served as Treasurer and is still an active member providing innovative projects which support vital community services to New Yorkers.
